Established in 1935 by The Draper family the Bakeries original home was in the Village of Bredon on the outskirts of Tewkesbury. Drapers was bought by Stephen Jenkins in 1996 having been a lifelong ambition to own his own business. Prior to taking over Draper’s he worked and trained in local bakery Compton’s for some 28 years learning all aspects of the trade from making traditional bread and cakes to making and piping wedding cakes.
