Set in a former barn and farm cottages adjoining an inn dating from 1735, this rural bed-and-breakfast lodging is adjacent to the River Derwent, 2.7 miles from Matlock and 3.7 miles from the Heights of Abraham cable car. The simple rooms have unfussy traditional-style furnishings and decor, plus TVs, and tea and coffeemaking facilities. Full English breakfast is served in the conservatory dining room with views over the Derwent Valley.
