Tucked away within the old walls of Leicester Castle, this little independent micropub is an absolute gem offering refreshment in quite possibly Leicesters most picturesque setting. The building has been sympathetically refurbished to suit its heritage, a small bar & side room downstairs and a larger cosy upstairs surprisingly offers seating for upto 60 people. Decorated in heritage colours, copper, cast iron, brass & oak, the traditional decor is perfectly set off by candlelight. For the summer evenings you can enjoy a little walled garden or spill on to to the cobbles of castle view. Expect three everchanging real ales are on offer along with continental beers and a craft wall, fine wines and spirits and much much more.
