These Scandinavian log lodges are set on the grounds of a 600-year-old country pub on the banks of the River Trent, 4.5 miles from Calke Abbey and 8.2 miles from East Midlands Airport. Each rustic cabin comprises a double bedroom, a shower room, a separate living room with a pull-out sofa and kitchenette, plus a porch with a dining area. The come equipped with flat-screen TVs and DVD players. Unlimited complimentary continental breakfast goods are provided in the lodges, while a lunchtime carvery is available in the cosy, antiques-filled pub, which exposed stone walls, oak beams and fireplaces. There's also an on-site microbrewery.
