Full of interest & character, this family run plant nursery, established in 1938, offers an array of open and enclosed sales areas set out across it’s three acre site. Down the years Collyers has developed into a destination visit, with a nursery shop, garden essentials, timber, ceramics and composts, but is best known for its extensive range and quality of outdoor plants & shrubs, including Japanese maples & climbing plants, alpines, roses, trees & more. In 2015 the Collyer family opened the popular PipTree Cafe in the heart of the grounds, serving up hot meals, coffee, cakes & bakes in an open garden setting. (Cafe closed Mondays).
