Alfred Works is a new food hall in The Custard Factory in Digbeth in February 2026. With over 12 global independent kitchens, bars and a coffee shop, this is the place to go for time shared with family, friends or work colleagues. Brought to you by Blend Family, curators of food halls in Sheffield, Manchester and London. Now in Birmingham. To locate us, head to the entrance of The Custard Factory on Gibb Street, enter the courtyard, and we are in the left-hand corner. Alternatively, access from Floodgate Street via the large entrance onto the bridge. Adjoining Alfred Works, across the river on Floodgate Street, is Alfresco a new social and outdoor space including a sports bar venue showing all the best in televised sport.
