Dating from 1819, this traditional country pub with rooms in a converted stable block is a 12-minute walk from the Monsal Trail, 2.2 miles from Haddon Hall and 4.3 miles from Chatsworth House. The rustic-chic rooms feature wood beams and exposed stone walls, plus country-style furnishings and decor (1 also has a plush 4-poster bed).
